Andrew Mikula Obituary, Death Cause – Yesterday, at the Independence hospital, Andrew Mikula, who was sixty years old and lived at 11221 Chicago, Sugar Creek, passed away. At that time, he considered Sugar Creek to be his home. During that time period, he called the neighbourhood of Sugar Creek his home. These particular individuals have spent the large bulk of their lives in the United States of America, despite the fact that they were born in the Czechoslovak Republic.

The year 1928 marked the year when he made the decision to make Sugar Creek his permanent residence once he eventually moved there full-time. It was only lately that he decided to leave his position at the Missouri Portland Cement firm in Cement City. Prior to that, he was a member of the Messiah Lutheran church in Independence. Furthermore, he was a devoted follower of the Christian faith. On top of that, he was a very involved member of the community that was associated with the church. His wife, Mrs. Mary Mikula, of the home, and four daughters Mrs. Mary Whitley of Ilasco, Mo.

Mrs. Anna Richards of Spokane, Wash.; and Theresa and Frances Mikula, both of the home along with two sons, Andrew Mikula, jr. of 10608 Kentucky, Sugar Creek, and John David Mikula, serving in the Navy at Gauntanamo Naval base in Cuba along with two sisters Mrs. Anna Gasko of Ilasco, co., and Mrs. Mary Speck of Detroit as well as two brothers George Mikula of Des Moines and two sisters are also surviving. Funeral services will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Monday at the Carson chapel, and will thereafter be followed by the interment of the deceased at Woodlawn cemetery. On Monday, there are currently two distinct events that are scheduled to take place.
